This month at Metropawlis

Book Signing and Yappy Hour

Mark your calendar for two big events:

  • Book Signing with Amy Ammen, Saturday 2/3, 1 pm: Meet Amy Ammen and Kitty Foth-Regner, co-authors of the just-released “Hip Ideas for Hyper Dogs”. Amy Ammen is the director of Amiable Dog Training, and is nationally known for her expertise in training unusual dog breeds and solving difficult problems. She has earned twenty-eight obedience titles, including three Obedience Trial Champions. She conducts training seminars all over the United States and has written six previous books, including Training in No Time (Howell Book House). Kitty Foth-Regner is a professional writer who has seen Ammen's training techniques work wonders with her own four previously hyper dogs.  Visit Metropawlis to meet Amy and Kitty, ask questions about your canine's behavior, and get your copy of their new book signed.
  • ROMP Yappy Hour at the Bucketworks, Saturday 2/17, 7 pm. Metropawlis is pleased to once again team up with Residents for Off-Leash Milwaukee Parks for the popular Yappy Hour event! It will take place at Bucketworks (an indoor facility) located at 1319 North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Art Bar will once again be sponsoring the “liquid portion” of the evening, and you can enjoy Metropawlis Blackjack (for fun money, of course) and raffle prizes, as well. All proceeds will go to ROMP. Register in advance at Metropawlis (cash only) or at the door the evening of the event. Limited space is available, so we advise early registration. New Pet Items in Store
