It's been less than two months since we closed on Brady Street, but it feels like two years!  We've missed you and your pets (and we hope you've missed us, at least a little).  As with any new construction project, the development of our new store was more work than anticipated, but when you visit the new Metropawlis we hope you'll agree it was worth the effort!

We're finally re-opening Friday night - Be among the first and save!

The new and improved Metropawlis will open its doors for the very first time at 5 pm on Friday, April 21st.  The new address is 317 North Broadway--just a half block south of the new Milwaukee Public Market!

Come visit us our first night to enjoy some VIP savings and refreshments, then stroll through the Third Ward to take in the sights and sounds of Gallery Night.  On Friday night, you'll find free parking at the Historic Third Ward Parking Structures at 225 E. Chicago St. and 212 N. Milwaukee St., in addition to the on-street parking on Buffalo, Broadway, St. Paul, and elsewhere. 

If you stop at Metropawlis on our first weekend in the Ward (Friday April 21st through Sunday April 23rd), you'll enjoy special VIP-only savings.  Remind us you're a VIP (Very Important Pet) when you check out, and you'll save 20% off everything in store.  These savings only last for three days, so please stop in soon and bring your four-legged friends--pets are welcome at Metropawlis!

Metropawlis in Frommers

If you've recently visited the Web site for Frommers Budget Travel, you saw the brief but positive article about Milwaukee.  You may also have noticed a certain pet boutique featured prominently.

Frommers didn't exactly suggest that visitors to our fine city stop at Metropawlis--in fact, we weren't mentioned at all in the article--but the only photo featured with the online article is of our shop!  Alas, the photo mentions Brady Street and we've since moved to the Third Ward, but we hope travelers to Milwaukee will make time to visit the fine shops, restaurants, and galleries both on Brady and in the Historic Third Ward.

New store--new store hours.  We'll be open seven days a week for your shopping pleasure:

One of the exciting changes in our new location is that Metropawlis is joining forces with Three Amigos Pet Bakery to provide fresh treats baked right in the store!  We're still settling into our new space and it might be a week or two before the oven is fired up, so please watch for mouth-watering details about Three Amigos in the next month's e-newsletter.
