THIRD WARD JAZZ FESTIVAL: The 8th Annual Historic Third Ward Jazz Festival will heat up the Ward on Friday and Saturday, August 4 and 5th! The festival features two stages of FREE continuous live jazz, plus food, shopping and more. The fantastic music lineup includes Delfeayo Marsalis, NILS, Berkeley Fudge, Luis Diaz, Tobias Kaemmerer, Swing Nouveau, and more! And did we mention it's free? Metropawlis will be open at our 317 N Broadway location both days from 10 am to 8 pm and will also have a booth in the marketplace during festival hours (11 am to 11 pm both days). WASHINGTON “BARK” DOG DAY. Join Metropawlis and other vendors at Washington Park for a bandshell renovation fundraiser! The event takes place on Sunday, August 6th from Noon to 4 pm. The fee is $5.00 per dog. Vendors, contests, games, and a Blessing of the Dogs are part of the activities for the day. The bandshell is located at 45th & Vliet. We appreciate that you've helped us to become a nationally-recognized pet boutique, and we hope you'll continue to do so!
